Was formed in late 1993 by Phil Smith to service cleanrooms, cabinets and other air systems, primarily in New Zealand.
Phil Smith already had 11 years experience in the Air filtration industry in New Zealand and Australia including management of the New Zealand division of Gelman Sciences from 1991 to 1993.

 


 

On 30th September 2008, Camfil Farr NZ Ltd acquired the Total Air Care Laboratory. Our IANZ Certification is now under the new name.
The merger of Total Air Care, Air Care Technology and Camfil Farr now enables us to provide a better range of products to complement our testing and validation services.

 


 

Camfil Farr NZ Ltd is involved in three related business activities:

  • Testing and Validation Services
    Camfil Farr NZ Ltd is an accredited test laboratory for testing and validation of cleanrooms, operating theatres, laminar flow cabinets, safety cabinets, fume cupboards and other air systems. Our testing services are accredited by International Accreditation New Zealand and are available throughout New Zealand. Maintenance and/or repair services for the systems tested is also available.   • Air Flow Calibration Services
    Camfil Farr NZ Ltd is accredited by IANZ as a Calibration Laboratory 5.28 for the purpose of calibrating air flow measuring devices such as anemometers and flow hoods. We are accreditated for calibrations from 0.20m/s up to 30m/s or 2L/s ~ 530L/s. See our Certificate of Accreditation for further details.
